June already, somehow.
The fleeces are back in the cupboard, the lighter kit’s coming out, and the workshop’s been busier than usual. Summer always brings a rush, businesses, clubs and schools all swapping the heavy winter gear for something they can actually move in, and most of our embroidery machines have been running on polos, t-shirts and work shorts since the start of the month.
What's inside this month
This month’s Thread & Print is all about the summer switch. CoolPlus polos and tees have been flying out in customer colours, and we take a look at proper workwear shorts, the ones with knee reinforcement, hammer loops and room for tools, not just any old shorts. There’s also a rundown on lightweight summer hi-vis: same Class 2 and Class 3 visibility standards, but breathable fabric and mesh panels so your team isn’t melting by mid-morning.
We’ve also got an early nudge on schoolwear and PE kit, September’s closer than it feels, and getting orders in now beats the August scramble, plus a snapshot of what’s been on the machines this month, from a 60-polo trade fleet to grassroots football kit and hospitality teamwear.
