The Portwest ES1 Essential Holster Trousers are built for trades who need their tools within easy reach all day. Made from hardwearing 245g Kingsmill polycotton, they’re tough enough for construction, carpentry, electrical and general trade work, at a price that makes kitting out a whole team easy.

Swing-away holster pockets keep screws, fixings and small tools close to hand, and can be tucked away when you don’t need them. A hammer loop, thigh pocket and rule pocket add even more storage, giving you 9 pockets in total. Bottom-loading kneepad pockets let you add knee pads for comfort and protection when kneeling, ideal for flooring, groundwork and installation jobs.

Side elastic panels in the waistband give a comfortable fit through long shifts, and the extendable leg lets you adjust the length from 31″ to 33″. The non-metal, anti-scratch design also makes them metal detector friendly and safe to wear around vehicles, furniture and finished surfaces. They can also be washed at up to 60°C, so they’re easy to get properly clean after a tough day on site.

Wash Care

Machine wash at up to 60°C on a normal cycle. Remove knee pads before washing. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on a low heat, or line dry. Iron at a maximum of 150°C (medium heat), avoiding any embroidered or printed areas. Can be professionally dry cleaned. See our Garment Care Guide for more.
