The Portwest ES1 Essential Action Trouser gives trades and site teams everything they need from a work trouser, at a price that makes kitting out a whole team easy. Made from hardwearing 245g Kingsmill polycotton, they’re built to handle daily use on site, in the warehouse or on the job.

Bottom-loading kneepad pockets let you add knee pads for extra comfort and protection when kneeling, making them ideal for groundworkers, fitters, flooring and plumbing trades. Side elastic panels in the waistband give a comfortable fit through long shifts, and the extendable leg lets you adjust the length from 31″ to 33″.

With 9 practical pockets, including zipped hip pockets, a cargo thigh pocket, a rule pocket and zipped back pockets, there’s plenty of space for tools, phones and essentials. The non-metal, anti-scratch design also makes them metal detector friendly and safe to wear around vehicles, furniture and finished surfaces.

Wash Care

Machine wash at up to 60°C on a normal cycle. Remove knee pads before washing. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on a low heat, or drip dry on the line. Iron at a maximum of 150°C (medium heat), avoiding any embroidered or printed areas. Can be professionally dry cleaned. See our Garment Care Guide for more.
